This was great. Seriously, I have been feeling more than a little unhinged as of late, and after reading this, well, I feel a little less like I am going to be sent over to crazy-town.

I just found your blog and wanted to say thanks for sharing your thoughts with us strangers. I lost my baby at 21 weeks to Turner Syndrome a week and a half ago and this is my first time dealing with this kind of grief. I simultaneously feel like I'm in a fog, like my heart is breaking from pain, and like I'm going crazy. I wish my family/friends could help, but it is amazing how much grief isolates you, even when you don't want it to. Thankfully, I have an amazing husband to go through this with.
ReplyDeleteAmy, I am so sorry for your loss and the heartbreak you are suffering. Please know that you are not alone, as isolated as you feel. When you start to emerge from the pain, there will be loved ones there for you who steer you through. I wish you and your husband, who I am sure is grieving as well, nothing but gentler days ahead.
